After playing an outdoor gig at GoatFest, Strathmore and SMAC style, in May, The Silver Beats are ready to roll once again at the CNY Jazz Central stage. Playing ALL the songs from Abbey Road. Close your eyes and you'll be be listening to the last album of music produced by all four Beatles before they disbanded.
Joey Wise has replaced our original drummer, Ringo Starr, and both of them are inspiring each other. Joey is bringing a new energy and creativity to our sound. And that boy can sing, too.
On guitar and vocals, Peter Allen, a multi-talented, singer-songwriter has more hyphenates than most Hollywood showrunners. Peter plays with many different kinds of groups due to his ability to create multiple styles: jazz, pop, rock, folk, Renaissance and late 50's rock 'n' roll.
On keyboard and vocals, Bob Reid, is well known in CNY for his jazz work with the Debbie Gilbert Trio, as well as many other jazz combos over a stellar musical career.
On bass and vocals, Ronnie Bell, you'll see a songwriter for more than sixty years, actor, producer and executive director for Syracuse Shakespeare-In-The-Park for twenty-one seasons and a retired SCSD special education/theatre teacher.
Opening act for this show is Christopher Ames. More of Chris' music and information can be found on his website at: https://www.christopherames.rocks/
